Pakistani TikTok star Imsha Rehman has deactivated her social media accounts following the unauthorized leak of private videos. The footage, reportedly showing Rehman in a compromising situation with a friend, circulated widely across social media and messaging platforms, sparking intense public scrutiny. This incident highlights a troubling trend, marking the second recent case of leaked videos involving Pakistani social media influencers.

The private videos of Imsha
Rehman circulated extensively across platforms like WhatsApp, X (formerly
Twitter), and Instagram, with screenshots quickly going viral and even being
turned into memes by some users. While some users expressed sympathy with the
influencer, others called it a PR stunt for fame. This wave of public reaction
led Rehman to deactivate her TikTok account. In a short message shared before stepping
away from social media, Rehman expressed how challenging the scrutiny had been,
noting, "The backlash has been overwhelming." Reports from local
media channels claim that Imsha's account was probably hacked.

However, this is the second such incident where an obscene video of a Pakistani influencer has been leaked online. In October, Pakistani TikTok star Minahil Malik faced controversy after a private video featuring her and her boyfriend surfaced online. Minahil, like Imsha, became an easy target for intense trolling not just from netizens but also from people in the film industry.
